Christian Monterrosa is an independent photojournalist based in Brooklyn, NY specializing in national politics, natural disasters, and migration. His documentary approach focuses on long-form visual storytelling, drawing from personal experience to highlight underrepresented communities. His work has been published by The New York TimesThe Washington Post, Bloomberg, and Agence France-Presse, among others. Christian’s photography is rooted in empathy, access, and a commitment to truth.

He is bilingual in Spanish and can produce both photo and video assignments.
